IN HOME
This category was the inspiration for Navigate Disability Network. Being able to live comfortably and functionally in a traditional home can be challenging for people with disabilities. There are many ways to restructure the existing home without disrupting family dynamics. This may include:
- adding ramps
- adjusting lighting
- dampening sounds and other stimuli
- adding play structures that aid development and sensory seeking
- automating sensors
- safety features (ie impede eloping)
- and more
MOVING
Moving is stressful enough on its own. We seek to alleviate that stress by coordinating the entire move, while being aware and sensitive to the individual needs of each family. Often times, there is specialty medical equipment that requires careful and unique transport. Some may need assistance with packing, loading, and unloading. Whatever a family is seeking, Navigate Disability Network is ready to partner with you during your move.
