Meet Our Founder
Dr. Denisse Ramirez Forghani is a Pediatrician who specializes in behavior and development. In 2019, she sustained an injury and developed a chronic disability with no known cure. This experience drastically changed her life, and the lives of her loved ones. As a wife and mother of two young daughters, navigating home life required a major shift. Becoming a member of the disabled community provided deep insight into the challenges faced by people with disabilities both in and out of the home, and across all areas of life. Navigating accessibility, work, social, and personal life has been both a challenging and rewarding experience for Denisse and her family. Living with a disability and working primarily with a disabled community, as well as having family and friends with varying disabilities and chronic illnesses, inspired Denisse and her family to start this business with the goal of providing equity and inclusion to this population that comprises about one fourth of people in the United States. The personal and professional experience that Denisse has, as well as her background in organizing and participating in volunteer events, and her deep passion for service to marginalized populations is poured into every aspect of this company.

Dr. Ramirez Forghani was born in inner city Chicago to a family of immigrants from Mexico. She grew up speaking Spanish in her home. Her beloved Abuelita Josefina, who passed in 2022, helped raise her and shape her into the person she is today. She instilled a deep faith in Denisse, a vision for vocation to minorities, and a dedicated work ethic. Her grandmother taught her to love others, to never give up, and to serve her community. She supported her throughout her schooling, all the way through completion of medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Abuelita is greatly missed,. but her legacy will live on through this company that exists to serve, just as she did.

Dr. Ramirez Forghani is a wife, mother of two incredible young daughters, and the oldest sister to nine siblings. Her loved ones have gifted her with a personal education in relating and connecting with people with disabilities, chronic illness, marginalization as people of color, issues faced by the LGBTQ+ community, different age groups, and diverse walks of life. All of that personal knowledge, rooted in loving care, is channeled into every facet of this company. Her husband and daughters have been completely dedicated to navigating disability with her. From the moment she was injured, they assisted her in any way they could with a tender devotion that she is eternally grateful for. Witnessing the hardships they have gone through as a result of her disability, and finding solutions within this new life offered extensive adaptation and tools to thrive as a family. Her husband and daughters are the primary inspiration and motivators for this company.

Dr. Ramirez Forghani enthusiastically looks forward to working with each individual and their loved ones to ease navigating life with a disability.
